Government agencies with statutory roles enabling them to request data from us includes but is not restricted to Police, IRD and the Ministry Of Economic Development. Email
SerialSearch only uses emails when the user has agreed to be sent either marketing material or reminders about items the user owns, user have the ability at any stage to opt out of this feature. SerialSearch reserves the right to send out emails where a service or account breach may affect the user identity or personal details.
Updating Your Personal Information
SerialSearch.co.nz provides you with ways in which you can alter your personal data, including changing your email address, password, phone number, etc. If you feel your acount has been breached you need to contact SerialSearch immediately.
Control of Your Password
You are responsible for all actions taken with your user name, email address, password and items. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your SerialSearch.co.nz password to any third parties. If you choose to share your user name, email address and password or your information with third parties to provide you additional services, you are responsible for all actions taken with this information and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy.

Membership Removal
If you wish to have your registration removed from our directory for any reason, you may send us an email requesting this. You may be required to prove your identity.
Google Analytics
SerialSearch.co.nz, like most New Zealand websites, uses the Google Analytics system to collect information such as the number of visitors per day or the number of pages requested per day. To do this, SerialSearch.co.nz has a small piece of code on each page which counts these statistics.
Serial Searches
All searches completed on serial search will record your current IP address, if an item is tagged as stolen you will be given the option to forward an email to us discribing when and where you saw the item so we can hand the information onto the owner and/or the NZ Police.
